P!NK certainly got the party started where she dazzled Hampden Park on 22nd & 23rd June 2019 as she took to the stage for two nights as part of her Beautiful Trauma World Tour. Her stunning vocal display, where she delighted the audience with hit after hit, was equalled by her spectacular acrobatics as she flew above the crowd in an exceptional performance.
In her first concert in Scotland since 2010, P!NK was joined by special guests Vance Joy, KidCutUp and Bang Bang Romeo who performed in front of the sold-out crowd. The ‘Get the Party Started’ and ‘So What’ singer delighted a crowd of over 50,000+ fans on Saturday and Sunday night with her chart-topping songs and infamous acrobatic stunts. Fans filled the stadium from 5pm and partied until 11pm on both nights.
P!NK’s performance inspired one concert-goer to profess her “True Love” by going down on one knee in front of thousands of P!NK fans in the packed stadium, with the help of the artist herself.
As you can imagine, with all the “Glitter in the Air” there was a considerable amount of waste produced which our team were on hand to control to keep the stadium clean and safe for all to enjoy.
The Spectrum team worked tirelessly during and after each show, clearing and responsibly disposing of the waste of the sizeable crowd. On Saturday night, our aim was to quickly transform the venue back to its original state to ensure more fans could fully enjoy night two of P!NK’s epic show. By Sunday night, our team’s focus shifted from stadium preparation to making sure the tour crew could quickly and safely begin to start packing and moving substantial amounts of equipment, moving onto the next city in her tour.
Rebecca Bell, Operations Director, noted;
