Usually played the week prior to the Open Championship, the event always attracts an exceptional field including some of the greatest players in the game. It is also one of the few European competitions to be screened live in the USA.
Like all large scale golf competitions, there is a requirements for a large amount of temporary structures and facilities, all of which need to be cleaned and kept free of waste during the competition. Spectrum is delighted to work with the European Tour on these prestigious events.
Spread over vast areas of countryside, we provided cleaning and waste management facilities for all public areas, merchandising areas, public catering facilities, corporate hospitality suites, VIP areas, official and technical areas, and BOH operational areas.
With the eyes of the golfing world on these televised events, it is imperative to keep all areas of the course clean and tidy at all times. And when the crowds have dispersed, it is essential to remove waste and dispose of it in a responsible manner, all before the crowds arrive the next day. All of this has to be done over extremely large areas across the many acres of golf course.
